Japan-Little Atom, Round Butt w/Floral Design & H.H.-NJLAFGHHLB. Datasheet
This is the Little Atom Berloque miniature 2mm pinfire pistol from Japan - it is nickel-plated brass, has a round butt with floral design on the grips and a hammer hole. There is also a clear stamp of "JAPAN" underneath the long barrel on the left side of the gun. The similar Austrian version does not have the beaded background, and the grips are pressed relief and removable from the guns. This is an antique, produced in the 1930's-1950's and are one of the later models, which has a round trigger & hammer. The barrel is also vented. This particular model is in "F" or great condition (graded based on the overall working condition and aesthetics for the same style and age). This gun has a okay finish with minor wear on the right side, but has tarnish all over the left side of the gun. The trigger is stiff, but doesn't work due to the broken hammer and the overall length (OAL) is 1 5/8". These minis are designed to fire ONLY BLANK projectiles. Be cautious when loading and firing this gun regardless!
This gun is listed as J2a in "The Tiniest Guns" by Bob Urso.
